How do I use a map?

Hey guys. once again, heres another stupid question from yours truly:

I downloaded a map that has a pelican in it, (MP) but i dont know how to play it in HaloPC. ive tried writting the file on the disk but that didnt work..

is it a .map file? if it is, go to your halo directory and there will be a folder called 'maps' put it there
