Everything is dark

I use paint - PSP7 ... with fraps 99 and Print screen..and all my videos / pictures come out VERY DARK..i mean..i am on a map. with a flame thrower..take a picture..and i can barely see the flames...wtf..
i 've even tried this on 2 diff systems....no luck

Geforce 4 mx 440
and a
Geforce 4 TI something....wasn't mine...

and it's dark

Well, I am on an ATI Radeon 9600 and it looks fine, although on my uncle's ATI Radeon 9200 it does look rather dark.

fraps is crappy in my opinion.

do the print screen without using fraps and then in PSP click new, then click ok, and then go to edit, and click paste
