Helicopter

Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

Helicopter

Post by convert »

Hey,

I came up with the idea for a helicopter, and modelled it, but i'm looking for a way to get this single model to replace all the LOD on the hog. Can this be done somehow?? I also modelled the tires as the rotors, so they should spin when the vech is used. I hope this is possible, as modelling all the LOD is just too damn tedious.

Here's a beta pic:

I was thinking maybe it could be possible to import this model to say 5 seperate locations, then use hex to redirect the diff LOD to each of the new models......but this is out of my scope, just a guess

Any feedback?

looks messy, make it less detailed for now and more organized and clean. Then add details, the copter blades are way too thick

No Problemo! j/k, try adding details after the initial shape is created, if you have pieces that stick out at odd angles, move the vertex into the right position.
