new HPC patch trouble

is anyone having any probs with the new patch i had to manually update my hpc cuz the ingame one gave me BS and now when i open hpc i see the intro and everything but now wehrn i get to the main screen its blank but i still get sound.

Can i get some help?

You could always reinstall HPC.. That might work.

But then he also needs to reinstall the latest patch. Well, try it anyway, see if it works.

did you update with the 1.02 patch first?

You shouldn't need to update to 1.02 first... at least, not if you got the update in-game or off Bungie's website. However, if you did get a 1.02-1.03 patch somehow, and Halo PC doesn't check to make sure it's the right kind of update (which seems unlikely) then you can always try a fresh reinstall. It doesn't take nearly as long as a new install.
