How to make a Decal

I wanted to know if it is possible to make a decal for the warthog. I noticed in HMT there are decals for the rocketlauncher and other things. The reason being is so I can put an image on the hood of the Hog without it getting mirrored to the other side. thanks

You could put half of the decal in the center of the hood, that way when it got mirrored it would be the whole decal.

I don't know of any other way to do it

that isn't exactly what i meant, i meant to make a completely separate bitmap sort of thing that could then be linked to the warthog, but i dont know how to do so.
