How do i ban people from online mutilplayer??

right click on halo icon now do u see the propertys ok good now click on that , now then, ull see target ok , at the end of "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" <<<<THAT put and leave a space
-console. so now it should look like this

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -console

sum 1 sed u have 2 be LAN, and sum1 else sed u type; ~ vs_ban (name of person here)

na man you dont just have to be on a lan, u can boot on internet too

this is confusing me now. do i press 'T' to talk 2 evri 1 then press ~ then TAB then vs_ban (then their name) and do i have spaces in any of it? can u type out an example of banning sum1 called fred so i can c wot u do. thanx.

You press ~. You dont have to press T, just press ~

Then type sv_ban (name)
Where as (name) is the name of the guy you wanna ban.

And there you go, n00b.

Its so simple just press ~ then type sv_players it brings up a list of peoples #s then type in sv_ban # of person or sv_kick # of person then click enter

here is my full tutorial

if you start your own server and someone is bein a real jerk and you want to just kick them out of the game and let them come back so you can flame them again, just hold down the F1 key to figure out what their handle (name) is in full detail (for example, l337 GaMeR, not leet gamer)

then hit the ~ key and type sv_kick "name"

if the command thign goes blank and above it it says in gray "sv_kick "name"" this command cannot be executed now, then you probably typed it wrong, or the guy already left. if the thing goes blank and it says "kicking l337 GaMeR (or whatever name of the guy you are kicking) and then you see the in-game message of "l337 GaMeR has quit" then you succesfully kicked him

to ban, follow those steps but substitute "kick" with "ban" and when you do it they will be banned from joining a game hosted by your ip address forever (unless you unban them of course)

to UNban, just follow the tutorial and substitute "kick" with "unban" and then, of course, the victim's name you had banned. this unbans them and lets them join your games and stuff like they had never even been banned. this is helpful if you host clan practices and somehow manage to ban a teammate.

I like the kicking and banning feature because before i had it i was in a game and this kid from britain was bein a real ass so i had to get him to leave by dissing england and the queen and stuff. i would just like to say banning was ALOT easier...
