I got so models that I want to put into halo and the files for the model I downloaded are as follows:
awp is the name of the weapon
1) v_awp.mdl
2) p_awp.mdl
3) w_awp.mdl
what should I do, what is this?
.mdl format???? Need help!!!

Ok, you need milkshape for this. Use Kratisto's mdl decompiler to decompile (only the w_awp.mdl) into .smds. then import the gun smd, not an animation. export as .obj. Then import the .obj in 3ds max. Then create a reference frame, resize, recoordinate, and link to the reference frame. export as .jms. Then compile into tag and build a cache file from tutorial.scenario

I have MS but not 3DSMax or GMax yet... so if you could send me the files that would be fine but you'd have to find someone for the 3DS bit.
