SP > MP Tutorial
I'm sure one existed a while back but can't seem to find one. If anyone knows a link to one, I would like to convert a few bsp's to multiplayer on halo 1 xbox to test a few things. Thanks for any help.

I don't remember there ever being such a tutorial for xbox, but I could be wrong.
It might actually be possible to do with Arsenic though.

Re: SP > MP Tutorial
DECOY posted a tutorial for doing it with PC maps a LONG time ago, but I can't find it. And I'm not sure how similar HMT works with HPC and H1Xbox maps. But if it was possible through HMT and HHT on PC maps, should it be possible to do it with Xbox maps?
EDIT:
Found this tutorial in the halo pc section: SP > MP
Could this work doing an xbox map?

Re: SP > MP Tutorial
I didn't know HMT could rebuild xbox maps, although HHT can I don't know if it's compatible with SP>MP conversions. Xbox maps are somewhat different that PC maps so even if a tool supports PC SP>MP it isn't trivial to also support Xbox SP>MP.nintendo9713 wrote:And I'm not sure how similar HMT works with HPC and H1Xbox maps. I'm skeptical, but I suppose you could try. At least to see how far you could get.nintendo9713 wrote:Found this tutorial in the halo pc section: SP > MP

EDIT: Actually I just tried with Arsenic and it's INSANELY easy to do... I'll write you some instructions now.

Re: SP > MP Tutorial
Thank you. So much.
What...? Will it be possible? If anyone finds this useful I'll post it in the Tutorials section, although it's going to be obsolete when Arsenic's built-in tag editor is finished.
Re: SP > MP Tutorial
Geez, I guess Arsenic does make it much easier to do. That's basically all my work wrapped up in a single program. If only it had been that easy all along.

Well what I mean is that eventually you'll just be able to edit the sbsp reflexive in the scenario from right inside Arsenic, which makes the whole "conversion" totally trivial since there's no need to mess around with Guerilla/HaloCE.nintendo9713 wrote:What...? Ha, that wouldn't have been any fun.kibito87 wrote:If only it had been that easy all along.
Re: SP > MP Tutorial
Ya know...I may just make a tutorial on how to do this using HHT only. That way, people who can't use the new Arsenic...(like me) will be able to do conversions. Although I have other ways of going about it that are easier, I think everybody at this point deserves to see how it's done using perfectly public tools.mtxboxfreak wrote:Well what I mean is that eventually you'll just be able to edit the sbsp reflexive in the scenario from right inside Arsenic, which makes the whole "conversion" totally trivial since there's no need to mess around with Guerilla/HaloCE.nintendo9713 wrote:What...? Sounds good, you should do it. I haven't used hht for so long.
