first time you played HALO
I am the only person in the universe who thinks the games got better over time. Then again, I played Halo 2 alot more before I played Halo Xbox. I was actually shocked when I saw that you couldn't do cool things like dual-wield or board vehicles. Really, I was.
For anybody still wondering where FTD has gone, here it is.

IMO, Halo 2 Is the best of the three. Halo 3's campaign is far better in story and execution then H2's, but the hours and hours and hours I've killed playing H2, with friends over system-link or even split-screen can never be compared to any other game.Philly wrote:I played Halo 2 alot more before I played Halo Xbox. Oh, and the fact that H1 sucks. The story was decent, but it had no flow to it. One minute your doing this on level C, next you're doing something completely different on level D, then something different from both the previous in E. I want a game that makes me feel like something I did earlier was important.

I was talking about releasing it on Xbox Originals though (the 360's Marketplace download section, not as in the original Xbox console).Xeno2 wrote:Wasn't halo 1 released before xbox live came online?

Re: first time you played HALO
Don't get annoyed at me for posting long after the last post here.
My friend who owns halo 1 told me to go on YouTube and watch this series called red versus blue( the REAL inventors of griffball not bungie) so I watched it and got hooked a year later I learn that my other friend has halo 2 xbox so I go over to his house and I get pretty far in the campagin for him. I did alot of the chase the prophet to kill him plot. I kept on going to his house to play it. Now I'm getting halo2 and halo for pc. And curisng microsoft for trying to sell more 360's
My favorite RvB line
Church: Caboose here killed me once. Well more than once
Caboose ( in a coma): (mumbles) not by fault tucker did it
Ps go to you tube and watch episodes 4-100 of rvb if you haven't
Pps
It turns out cabooses gun isn't loaded with bullets it was loaded with crayons.

RvB eh? I think you're the first to suggest we watch that show. Is it something that came out recently?

Re: first time you played HALO
I was young in a summer camp while my brothers were in our old house up the ol' mountain hill. During the camp, I had to go up to the house to retrieve a CD for a skit I was going to perform, and as I walked in the room I noticed that my older brother had bought an XBOX with Halo 1 in the player. They were out of the room for a moment and left it paused on Bloodgulch. I picked it up, played for about 15 seconds, and after shooting the pistol at a wall a few times, grabbed my CD and closed the door behind me completely unaware the deeply Halo-involved future that awaited me.
Re: first time you played HALO
Heh, I'm also late to this party...I can't actually remember the first time. Nor can I rmember if it was me or my friend who got the xbox first. But I do always remember when a few of us went to his house and played on blood gulch for hours. Sure we killed eachother a lot, but we ended up doing stunts and mucking around with the physics engine for so damn long. Good times. Despite that, I still feel that Hangem high is one of the best maps in Halo (lockout, coagulation, ascension ghost town, guardian and valhalla is pretty much the rest of the list)
Re: first time you played HALO
I've been playing Halo PC since 2003 when it came out. I don't have an xbox or vista, but this summer I stayed a week at my aunt's and got to play through the entire halo 2 and 3 campaigns. It was epic.
Re: first time you played HALO
Got xbox the second day it was out I think, maybe it was the first, I can't really remember. Well I got it in a bundle with 2 games. Some football game that I can't remember and then Halo. I played the football game for a few hours and thought it was cool. Then I put in halo and played through the first level before I had to go to bed. I thought it was not bad, but I didn't realize how good of a game it was at the time.
