What is Flock?
Flock is a browser. The people here at Flock are committed to building a browser unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before; because we start by focusing on user needs. We take pride in solving for common behaviors on the Web that seem clunky today, and will seem ridiculous tomorrow. We’re taking you there.
We’re focused on keeping you close and better connected to the people, places and things you love, more informed about the topics that turn you on, and smiling about the way it all comes together. We love nothing more than hearing from users who didn’t know they were experiencing ‘conventional browser fatigue’ until they’ve downloaded Flock..and voila. Their lives get that much better.
We're big fans of the many interesting and innovative sites and services that continue to emerge to keep our online lives interesting. We also share a common vision that your browser should do much more than just get you to where you want to go. It should make sure you don’t miss out on things that are important to you and help you break down any barrier to easily share, publish, discover and communicate, so that you can enjoy the web to the fullest extent possible.
If you’re not sold yet, download Flock and get ready to meet your new favorite browser.

This is, essentially, FireFox with a different UI. The installation is exactly like it.
It's so much alike, in so many ways, I think it might be illegal. I hope someone doesn't research it, and they get sued for it...

Re: Flock
Sounds like such an improvement. ¬_¬Will Flock be powered by Firefox 3?
Flock 2.0 is now available and powered by the same technology as Firefox 3.
Do web pages render differently in the Flock browser than in Firefox?
Web pages render exactly the same in Flock as in Firefox.
Do my Firefox extensions work in the Flock browser?
Most Firefox extensions will work in Flock, with some exceptions. Additionally, extensions must declare themselves compatible with the latest versions of Flock and Firefox to work in either program. You can get Flock-specific extensions at extensions.flock.com.
Re: Flock
Because that's obviously the purpose of Flock.
Is there a ignorance filter that this forum upgrade installed?

Re: Flock
from skimming over the about page briefly, i'm not interested. All they mentioned in the about page was general "our browser is awesome" marketing speak. I'd be more interested in a ridiculously lightweight browser than the next big shiny one.
ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>

Re: Flock
I thought I read that this browser integrated with social networking sites and email and things to keep your social/communications more centralized, but otherwise was just basically Firefox... but then again I first heard about this quite a while ago.
