New Sandbox Screenie + Information : SKYBUBBLE

Well personally when i saw the Pictures of Sandbox, i wasn't too impressed; however i was slightly more happy when they gave new info on those interviews, and told of some of the items; such as the killball.

Well now; it appears Bungie have given some more information. And its as juicy as the best fruit!

Appears this 'skybubble' is above Sandbox, pretty high; like the roof of the map is VERY high. And the Grid is a physical floor for all the items, but for players; it dosen't exist and players as a result; fall to their death.

Yep, saw it last night. People here aren't too excited or up-to-date with all of this, but there's a 160-page thread over at ForgeHub for just Sandbox. It's ridiculous.

That 160-page thread at ForgeHub that I mentioned 7 hours ago? It's now 180 pages due to the release of the Sandbox item list by Bungie. And I bet it'll be over 200 by the end of the night.

So, let me get something cleared up. The "floor" is for items but if you fall on it, it will be like invalid geometry in Halo 2? (resulting in the, Killed by The Guardians message)

It will be a death barrier, 'fell to your death' or whatever. A suicide, as if you jumped off of any normal map.

I would hope that the death barrier is below the grid, so that you don't instantly die when you fall off the map.

Between the kill box and sky bubble is actually looks like they took some effort to make a map interesting and not only for looks. The first DLC map I fully approve up
