i still cant change the AR to shoot grenades

go to halomods.com and go to downloads and get HaloMapTools 3

then go to projectiles, and click assault rifle, and swap that with frag grenades.

Since you posted 463635 threads on this topic... I'll help you out. It's very easy.
1. Open the map you want to mod in HMT v3 (downloaded from www.screw.you)
2. Click tools->Batch Extract and choose a directory, click Extract sounds and then extract.
3. Go into notepad and creat a BLANK file (very very important) and name it "shoot_grenades_from_assault_rifle.meta" BE SURE TO HAVE .meta at the end!
4. Put that file into the directory you extracted the map into
5. Put original map in that directory
6. In HMT go to Tools->Rebuild Map. select the map and click yes auto fill. now click add and select shoot_grenades_from_assault_rifle.meta
7. Click build
8. Now, go to that directory. there should be a xxxxxx.map.rebuild.map. DELETE IT!
9. copy/paste the other map file into Halo Map file directory (usually C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\MAPS)
10. Start up halo and play that map!
