What is a good way to do this? I play paintball and thought it would be cool if I could mod it out so it looked like paintball splatter. That, and sometimes I have friends and little bros etc. that don't like the blood.
Also, I'm definitely a newb as far as modding games go, so be patient!
I have a bone stock Xbox at the moment, but I'm pretty sure that if I needed to softmod it etc. I could likely do what needed to be done to change it.

The way most paintball mods where done over time was replace the current bullet decals with hunter/elite/human(?) blood.
And if you wish to stop blood from spawning without screwing up the textures(which you may do by just blindly injecting crap into your .shared.map) is to go into the biped tags, and null the effects that create blood, also, I can't remember but you may want to check the object properties to make sure there isn't any blood spawning effects there as well.
This way is just as easy, though I think I may have made it sound harder.

Cool, will do if I decide to do more with it in the future. My memory card and AR are on their way. I've never really been into gaming all that much as I have lots of other stuff on the go, but its still nice to sit back and do something different every once in a while. Besides, when the game is beat theres not much else to do with it lol. But I don't know too much about gaming or computer/console modding/programming in general. So if I ask something that sounds stupid thats why.
