Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

Can't see the water in most new maps like casualty Gorge

Post by [users]Genocide »

I was playing casualty gorge and was walking around going cool map, whish I could learn to make good maps, and then I threw a grenade and heard a big splash and saw water, then I could shoot it and stuff etc. I looked at pics of the map and it shows water, but it doesn't show up for me, is there any way for me to fix this?

you need pixel shaders to see the water in cutom maps... all radeon cards from 9200 upwards have pixel shaders... and all nvidia geforce fx cards have pixel shaders. MX's don't. I have a 9600 pro 256mb and i'm buying an X800pro or x800xt as soon as they drop below around
