GMP approves of windows 7 x86_64, as it seems to be a what vista should have been. Also, here's GMP's desktop since it seems to be what all the cool kids are doing:

I'm still able to boot into xp, although I don't really feel like it most of the time. I'm going to want to buy this when it comes out.

You should mount it on a virtual drive with a program that has such functionality.

First two results for Vista and XP, respectively. However, premium programs offer better functionality. I've never tested either of the two listed there, so I can offer no support.

Good thing we're moving on and getting back on topic.

I would really like to install 7 (or even set up a dual boot configuration) but unfortunately I have no clue how to install an OS. :\

I might still look into it though...maybe get some hands-on help from my dad.

What is unsatisfactory about it. I don't have many complaints. Did you attempt to get the drivers and assign a drive letter to the other partition like others suggested?
