WIP - Double Helix

So I've been intrigued by my Genetics and Society class, and I wanted to make a cover for my binder for it.
While writing my paper today, I thought of how there are two points of view to genetics:

1) It has amazing potential to enhance our daily lives.
2) It has the ability to seriously restrict our way of life if used for ill-intent.

So this is to represent how genetics, if intermingled, can enhance our lives, and how it can be a prison to us.
Remember this is a work in progress... I wanted to know if this is something worth continuing, and what improvements you can spot.
All of this is done by me. Including the silhouette, who is yours truly. ^_^

It Should be a Spartan. Genetics.

It also should have pig tails, some spikes, and something else involved with Radioactive waste. Have fun with it. You can do better then this... not that it isn't good, you can just do more with it. Have fun.

Needs web 2.0ifying (shinyness, glowyness, blueyness).
Then save it as a png and have kinkos print it out on a good printer and paper.

Add a bit of depth on each line that goes behind the silhouette, and shadow caused by the silouette onto the helix. Another bit, the blue lines tend to overlap into the red, I know it's supposed to go into the sides of it, but since the red isn't rounded, just looks sloppy and would look cleaner if the blue went behind the red in all of them .
