For car ads, I would go for a scenic background.. Just suits the type of graphic better.

the onyl probelm with a sceneic back ground is that the shading doesn't suit the car's shading, therefore making it look completely out of place.

Mhm you'd have to work on it a while, I just made that real quick for an example. You'd have to do reflexions, bluring, noise, and color blending to get it perfect =p

The red outline glow doesn't seem to be needed TBH.
