I personally think 3 would be the best.

I have to work on 13". ;_;
Luckily, when I'm at home, I can dock into a 24" 1080p monitor.

I'm used to working with a big laptop screen, since my mom has a 17" widescreen HP.
Mine is 18.4" though, which is plenty big.
Now, going back to my desktop while the recovery discs are being made, looking at a 12801024 screen is just so weird and makes everything look big.
It's also no as bright.

I'll trade you for a widescreen 19" that has a single pixel red line vertically across it.

I agree, 17" is too small. Sometimes I wish I had invested in two 24" monitors... But hey, $200 for this Sceptre was a good deal!

I know the resolution is small. My parents won't let me max it out (1680x1050), because they claim they can't read anything.

Going back to 1280x1024 after being at 1920x1080 is unbearable.

I hate using my desktop, which is at 1680x1050, then going to my laptop that is at 1024x768.

1920x1200 is so nice, but not much of a jump from 1600x1200, but the screen size was tremendous!
