3dsmax 6 is friggin amazing.
I followed kirks and mattp001 (thanks)tutorials and i am so impressed with how much power that
program has. I am well on my way to building Seige, one of the first levels to use tweaked weapons.
Think of an open feild , surrounded by walls with 8 or 9 small castle like outposts on them. It only has one or two tweaks, basicly that shades will
be modifeid to fire fuelrod type and have a huge range, but be made slightly weaker than standered fuel rod rounds, for huge artillery type battles. Trenches run between the bases for cover, and warthogs (And only WARTHOGS) will be on the map as well , probablly 3 or 4 for each team. I already have the first beta outpost done .. but i'm making this map right so i'm taking my time.
Seige is only practice however for my masterpeice ,, which i will not reveal until the time is right.
Its a shame that i only got trial. ISn't there a student lisence or somthing you can buy for like 200 bucks? Or even better, has anyone heard anything on a Gmax plugin ?.. i would hate to downgrade, but free is the best price of all.

3ds max is amazing. GMax looks and feels exactly like 3ds max and might do if you're really lacking $$ and determined but because it lacks rendering capability you'll easily loose perspective with complex layouts & designs ..........unless you have a very good imagination that is.
There is a student/faculty 1 yr License - full version available at $180 or student/faculty perpetual License from discreet at around $550 to $650, depending on where you look.

I'm hoping it will be .. but i'm determined , but kinda noobish so don't get your hopes up. Most of the HaloCE levels sucked balls, so i'm gonna learn my shit before i put some bullshit out.Deceptoris said
wow that sounds pretty cool
Appreciate that. Anyone have a GMax thing that exports JMS's or somthing that converts a max or 3ds file to a JMS?B_StrikeR Said
