Just for scales' sake, the white things are taller in height then the MC.

No gameplay has been changed.

All weapons are stock, weapons contained: Sniper, AR, Shotgun, Flamethrower

Recommended Game-type: Generic Start, NO VEHICLE RESPAWN, stock options.

The map contains 4 warthogs, 2 for each team.

There's a secret RL. Kudos and a special prize to the first to find it, and tell me where it is.

Trust me, you WANT the special prize. It's nice.

This is my entry for the mod contest.

  • Altimit: Without eschaton I wouldn't have a plugin to allow this stuff.
    MoDFoX: As always, I bump ideas off you.
    Andrew_b: For breaking my first build, that was about 80% done, with his ghetto ass meta file, that game me a bitmap with dimensions 46x0. Thanks, especially you andy. :P
Hey everyone, if you download this, go join the forums located in my sig, and check them out.

And now, one last profound statement;

This is what I wanted when I first started looking into the collision, and thanks to help from other members it's been accomplished. This is the greatest example of what can be accomplished using the plugin. So without further ado;

LOG MODS FTW!

And leet collision editing.

The largest box is something like 11x5x.2, when the original log was 1.35x.2x.2

Bug report:

I just tested it out, and its pretty neat, but I was getting a little frustrated walking up a few of the ramps and I kept falling through them at certain places, but its a beta app, stuff like this is to be expected.
Also, I received an exception error walking up one of the ramps a second time as well.

I love the concept though!

EDIT: Also found FP model error upon charging the chamber on the shotgun.

Is that when the ammo reloads awkward? That always happens to me with PMI.

And yeah, the collision is still sketchy, and the models don't match up perfectly with the collision. Not to mention the holes, which is why most blocks are doubled, with the one being rotated.

Prize is still open, nobody's found the RL yet. First to find gets access to a special little "toy" I'm working on.

Amazing... For something that was recently discovered and made, by you of course this is brilliant.
You applied what you have gone into depth learning and discovering this new... thing.
I did however find a hole... Its on the back corner (one with the tower) if you go all the way to the side wall you fall through the platform. - May be more but I didn't walk, I mostly drove.
There are a few gaps in the floor aswell but you can walk those fine.
Nonetheless I'm liking this map, and looking forward to trying it out with some people. Great job!

I haven't tried it yet. It took me about 5 minutes to actually find the download link, which was very large and in red. (Ironic isn't it. :oops: )

I will try right now.

It was really fun. I like the collision errors on the structure with the flamethrower. :wink:

I would have kept playing with it, but for some reason I exceptioned. Probably something I did. Oh well. It was fun nonetheless. I can't find the rocket launcher. :(

Thats exactly what I was originally inspired by was the "I can has squares/cubes" apps, and neodos' research.

Thank you for all the comments. This map could've been perfected collision wise, but I was drawing down to the wire and needed to finish it. I understand there will be several collision errors, but thats due to the nature of the log's collision model having holes, as well as my own human error. Hopefully I will be able to fix this with a new process I have planned, which owes a large amount of thanks to andy.

Thank you to everybody for all the positive comments on this.
