I think it's time to come clean.

If your son has requested a new "processor" from a company called "AMD", this is genuine cause for alarm. AMD is a third-world based company who make inferior, "knock-off" copies of American processor chips. They use child labor extensively in their third world sweatshops, and they deliberately disable the security features that American processor makers, such as Intel, use to prevent hacking. but in other news, as far as that kid's concerned, looks like he's just some script kiddy that couldn't hurt anyone. so he can use google and copy/paste a url, so what? i would hope at least most of halomods' users would be able to see how little threat kids like this pose. Besides, there's bigger things to worry about, like actual black hats, botnets, zero-day, etc.

i guess what bugs me most about it though is how the reporter, or whoever he is, doesn't call this kid out for what he is; a script kiddie. instead he's glorifying him with the term hacker.

oh, and if you're dumb enough to use the same handle for both legal and illegal activities, as well as host illegal content on your home PC, you deserve to get caught for being so fucking stupid. slap the kid on the wrist or something.
