Baldurs Gate: no install

I like this game, named Baldur's Gate, here's a pic of the logo

As I lewd the disk, it asks me if I wish to install. (WTF??? Of course I want to!) So I click Install. I get a wait cursor, but then nothing. Try again, nothing. Go into the disc files, click SETUP.EXE, nothing... Help...?

this is a Tech problem for one thing, post it there next time.
check the disc for any scratches, even if it looks fine, just wipe it with a soft cloth

Yes, it gets our attention, but most specifically the attention of the moderating staff, who don't take kindly to random anger (unless it's in the rant thread).
