but uh didn't someone manage to find the wave parameters for the water?
or am i just crazy/it has nothing to do with this?

I'm pretty sure they did did because i remember Veegie posting pics of th altered waves, but i thought he said he edited the wave.dll file on halo 3 disk using a Dev kit. But yes peoples did manage to find and figured out how to manipulate the various wave parameters.

that dll is to the Waves runtime, which is a audio related SDK

No no, i know what that dll is. but I remember someone posting a picture of
valhalla's water much more volatile and orange i think?

he was refereeing to the increased water level mod and no it can't be gametype modded

It's not a usermap mod.. All people in usermap mods do is spawn another sky, which a plane of fake water is linked to.

.rmw is the real shit.

Its a tag in the halo 3 map file that controls water properties.

How come the currently released rmw plugin doesn't have any named values? No wave height or anything of the sort. :?

Most the stuff for color, tiling, wave mesh is all in one tag block and there all under the same 3 values, there all different functions in different chunks.
