I would be in, I'm great with innovative ideas and approaches but.. as it is, I completely ****ed over my Halo PC to the point its unplayable even after FULL reinstall. So, I'm no good, sorry.

(The second I place any map in my MAPS folder half the weapon models disappear from the model list and map completely, yet when I remove the MAP, the models re-appear which leads me to believe the problem Isn't the map at all, its the game or something, because the models disappear even with original maps installed. It's a very odd problem, luckily, I finished my latest mod in time for the modding contest, so don't count me out.) =D

Wow, I never expected this much of an outpour.

Tucker, do you use vista? Run as an administrator if so.

Yes Vista and I don't see how admin would change how the game reads the maps but... I tried it anyway and still, same issue. =\

What I don't get is, why if your already on administrator account in the first place, why doesn't it run as admin?

IDK. But yeah, apparently Vista Caches files and reads from those, so running as an Admin reads right off the file or something like that.

But yeah, running as an admin will cure problems like yours. I'm surprised it didn't.

And thats peculiar tbh.

Did you reinstall to a new location? Try uninstaling/reinstalling as an admin to a new location, IDK what else. Good luck with that.
