Due to the amount of work I've put into this, and the information I provided for this mod, I decided to create an informational page in wikipedia's Halo mods section. In other words, click here to learn more about the Cryophobia mod series:
http://halomods.wikia.com/wiki/Cryophobia
Cryophobia = a morbid fear of freezing
Arctic Crisis = Original name of the enhancement for the Cryophobia campaign before I canceled it.
Dropped the "Arctic" as it was redundant.
Cryophobia --> <-- Crisis
Just for fun I searched how to write out the two ways to demonstrate its pronunciation:
1.) Cry-oh-sis
2.) krī-ō-sĭs
Yes, I know I said I was gone, but I forgot to give ya'll that last thing I made before I left. No more updates. This is it.
So I haven't really thought too long about posting the file...I just thought, "not everyone checks out the sites you posted it on; some people never check more than one site for some mods sometimes". That made me think about posting the file here.
Because I believe it's better to state the bad news before the good, that's what I'll do.
Ok, so here's the bad news. It's a trial mod, and unfortunately thus far, cannot work on macs for some reason. However, some people might get it to work; it doesn't work on macs because a recursive meta injection messed it up. This also caused another problem: computers with minimal graphics most likely can't play the mod either. For example, if you can't see the detail of grass, just some green paint, then that's bad. If you can see it, then that's good. To make sure you can run it, check your video setup to see if you can turn "Specular" on and off; if you can, then you've got a 99% chance that it'll work.
Good News: Everything else.

Echo Ranger 449 and the Halo Archives are proud to present the Halo Trial mod that has been in the making since April 26, 2007. The mod started out as an update for Sky Wars v.1.2 and ends up as Sky Wars v.2, Cryophobia, Cryophobia v.E, and then finally, Cryosis. I hope you enjoy this mod as much as I do.

Ok guys, here it is. Cryosis. Sorry I'm not releasing the campaign version. I just can't release something I don't feel at least 90% satisfied with.
First off, to anyone whose never played Cryophobia v.E (a.k.a. Cryophobia:Enhanced) before, this mod puts a lot of stress on your video card so you need a pretty decent one to even run the mod (otherwise you'll get an exception error).

Below is a description of the updates to the "Cryosis_original" file I posted a while ago. The updates are much greater compared to the Cryophobia and Cryophobia: Enhanced versions.
I already posted a link for the file, but a lot of people may miss it, so here is a slightly updated version...I only updated a handful of things...like the fuel rod projectile reflection and the battle rifle's auto-aim. Brute shot is a little more lethal now. Needler isn't impossible to dodge when strafing (but the wielder can adjust their lead to make up for the reduced homing). The jet can't fire missiles at 45 degree angles from the jet's forward position; this makes it a lot easier to avoid missiles and makes it much harder for a jet to take out a Flying Walrus. The shotgun has reduced damage as well; it's still very powerful though.
By the way, if you use devmode to spawn all weapons, you can use the campaign needler which fires brute shot rounds (expect major lag if you use it though).

Here is some more interesting info on halomods.wikia.com for it (it's listed in the trivia section for Cryosis):
- The "campaign needler", which can be found by using the devcommand cheat_all_weapons, fires brute shot projectiles at a high rate of fire.
- The Assault Rifle has a very fast melee
- If you get stuck on the log platform on the top, you can either teleport yourself down via devmode or use the energy sword to bring a vehicle up to you
- The teleporter to the hiding place located above the red cave be can be accessed using a brute shot to jump up to the log platform
- Hover tanks can climb on top of the bases (original bases) if given enough speed at the right angle.
The day and night version download contain a special halo.exe file included with the installation files that allow players to use the devmode. This was done so players can use the gametypes created with the modified ui.map file. - type ` to activate the devcommand line (it's the same key as the ~ key)
- type sv_map bloodgulch "name of gametype in quotation marks"
- for example, sv_map bloodgulch "team slayer"
- There is a video posted by Echo where he was "messing around with the devcam during a game of Cryosis". The first half of the video shows two clueless players (not acting, real) behave unusually and almost on key with the music (that was played at the same time the video was recording)
- There are two versions out, though only one was publicized. The Cryosis_original is the unpublicized original one that is featured below.
Here is something I made for my server, which other people can use. However, to avoid confusion, tell anyone after you use the "ctrl + z" command that you're not Echo Ranger, otherwise you may get a lot of questions you can't answer.
ctrl+z: welcome to server
ctrl+x: how to install
ctrl+c: history of cryosis
alt+z: cryosis explanation
alt+x: cryosis videos
shift+z: do not curse
shift+x: do not betray
shift+c: do not hack
shift+v: do not interupt host
Shift+b: report all afk's
The other "hack" abuses the animation trigger for the assault rifle's melee. Shift+W
