Swapping weapons using Sparkedit
Swapping weapons using Sparkedit
I'm working with infinity on sparkedit, but am having issues with swapping weapons. I select a weapon, but the swap menu is completely blank. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?
I'm using Sparkedit to place a plasma pistol on infinity, because whenever I play (regardless of what weapon set I choose) the plasma pistol doesn't show up in its location on Sparkedit (or at all for that matter).

If you have PMI'ed you will need the string fixer or w.e is it called. You can find it in the utilities section...

EDIT : If not so I'm not sure what causes it. Make sure you selected weapon first...give us some more info.

Sig over height limit.
That's normal. There is a way of getting round it, however. It's quite easy; just modify the scenario in a dependency swapper.
For anybody still wondering where FTD has gone, here it is.

I remember reading somewhere that gren wasn't working on SE anymore because he had moved onto bigger and better things (Prometheus). Bobindashadows the guy who did almost every mac app back in the day posted his sparkedit source here which includes a large portion of gren's code. It's not complete and is missing most of what would be necessary from a UI perspective but the core of what's necessary to edit the scenario is there. I wrote the Eschaton scnr editor with this as a guide. All of bob's code is in OBJ-C if the syntax looks unfamiliar.

using halo hacker tool (HHT), go to tags that reads "[scnr] senario"
there will be a list. scroll down all the way to [itmc], if its a multiplayer map. youll see a weapon or item powerup. swap what you wish using those tags. like the same weapon appears everywhere or something, just a thought.
I'm 25% sure this is the right way...
(ignore this if problem is solved, or just ignore this itself...)
