CH2R Problem Opening

Post by DaRkM »

Error:
Application has generated an exception that could not be handled

I don't see how .NET framework could be a problem since i have the below installed:
.NET Framework 1.1
.NET Framework 1.1 (hotfix)
.NET Framework 2.0
.NET Framework 3.0

It should open without it.

It sounds like you downloaded a bad version. Try this one: http://forums.halomods.com/viewtopic.php?t=15968

3.5 wouldn't matter. It was more then likely built with 2.0, If you are using vista. CH2R uses the windows XP theme system, you'll need XP to run this.

I can run it just fine. 8)

Also, right click/Properties/Compatibility and check the "Disable desktop composition" box.

And if that doesn't work, try this Ch2r: http://files.filefront.com/Ch2rrar/;120 ... einfo.html
It is the one I use and it works perfectly.
