I dont drink water on its own at all but i do notice a taste in both distiled, natural and tap water.
Tap water in the UK has different tastes depending where you are.
In the midlands in some cases it almost has a nut kind of texture and taste as little as it is yet in the south it has a more chlorine taste.
I think in the midlands the companies use more floride which gives it that taste.
as for distilled water.
it seems too....acidic to me almost like your sucking on a copper coin that kind of taste or even a little bit of iron.

I'm sure if you put someone in a room full of O2 (I believe the difference between O and O2 is that O is not breathe-able/healthy ) then released them into the outside of that room they would say that there's a different smell, and vice-versa.Now here's the real question: Does air not have a smell, or are we so accustomed to always being in it that we don't think anything of its smell?
Helium, Nitrogen and most other gases have a smell.
Water DEFINITELY has a taste, and a feel that differs from source to source. You can tell the difference between Sparkletts Bottled, and Arrowhead bottled, and Even moreso in the more expensive water you buy, (Figi, Voss, Volvic, etc.) Voss tastes like clean snowmelt, Figi has a lighter feel and taste to it, and Volvic is pure bottled awesome. I strongly dislike tap filtered water, like the ones from Brita and PUR. the Charcoal purifies it to the point where it's flavorless, and at times makes me more thristy after I drink it. Not to mention the bits of charcoal the end up through the mesh screen and into the bottom of the glass.
Technically water does have a taste, but it is, as previously stated, looked over as we are so used to it.
So yeah, ask a baby.

But the best water World-Wide is clearly Mexico's. It's no contest what with the "special surprise". I mean, who doesn't love Montezuma's Revenge.
'Perfect' water actually has a balance of minerals (such as salt and calcium). Pure H20 is actually bad for you, because it leaches these nutrients from your bones and whatnot.-DeToX- wrote:If water is the same formula, why would it taste different than other water..? I'd say you guys aren't feeling the taste of water as much as the garbage that's thrown into it.
But yes water has a taste itself

Is that single experience, or several experiences? Because both my parents lived in New York City for 25 years, and they've told me it's the best water in the country. I'm not being sarcastic.xbox wrote:Not from my experience.RaVNzCRoFT wrote:And New York City actually has some of the best water in the United States.
Los Angeles tap ftw.
