Red vs. Blue: Reconstruction
Episode: 1
Setting: Valhalla, with an intelligence center in The Pit.
I advise you not continue reading until you have watched the video. Spoilers below:
Not much content here, other than Tex returning to fight O'Mally at Valhalla. O'Mally/Omega arrived on the Pelican which crashed. This is evident as Walter described the "infection" as only affecting one person, and when that person was confined, it went to another, characteristic of Omega. If he's trapped, he jumps to another body. Pretty strong evidence of it being the Omega AI. Later, he describes someone invisible arriving, and subsequently killing all people as they were infected. Easy evidence of Tex, returning to try to kill Omega once again. I'm not particularly sure where they're going with the return to Coagulation at the end. If someone has input, please add it.

Darn it, I was so gonna post this first...
Anyway, yeah, most of your analysis appears correct. I really hadn't thought of it that deeply, but I think you're in the right direction.
And maybe it's his "too nice to be good" voice or something, but that guy you see through the computer monitor seems evil.

It is expected, and demanded.Tural wrote:MrMurder, we're going to hold you to that promise.
I think it may have been the uninfected people, to stop Omega from leaving the area. Walter said they were told not to fix the towers, which is what makes me think it was intentional. However, it could be either way. The ones who knew what it was turned off their equipment and "trapped the rest of their team inside" I suspect, and took down the tower to prevent Omega jumping to anyone outside of the guys inside the base, as far as I can tell. He also said the guys would get infected, then try to bring the comm tower back online. I think they wanted it down and Omega wanted it up.ScottyGEE wrote:Was it the omega or the normal ones that knocked out the radio towers? Thats the bit I don't get.
As a previously-related note, what do we know is left in Coagulation that could need recovery? My only thought is that Tex got Omega from Valhalla and left, back to Coag.
If anyone wants to download it now it will be on my filefront.
Only difference is is the attacker in the prologue is a white EVA spartan...Tural wrote:Rewatching Recovery One, I remember Washington telling South that the enhancements were stolen from each Freelancer, South's being the domed energy shield. In Reconstruction, the invisible assassin (Tex), had an overshield on. Coincidence?
A valid point. Now that I think about it again, Wyoming did escape from Recovery One right as York's armor was detonated, so Wyoming is still out there. Perhaps it is he at Valhalla hunting Omega, not Tex.
Also, does anyone know where the thread for the trailer went? I'm certain I, or someone else, had made a thread for the Reconstruction trailer.

Watched recovery one and out of mind...While the out of mind doesn't really give any help other than to give an idea on AI's...Recovery one reminds me of Heroes (one person going around taking all powers and AI's)...
I'm not sure if I got the names right of each (get mixed up).
Anyway, also to note is that in the final episode of recovery one, the evil taking powers dude uses a brute shot. the same weapon was used to kill the other people in Reconstruction:prologue. So this at least rules out Tex (more than what it did before with what I said.)
Anyway, looking forward to more. didn't really realise how much of a story they were putting into things >_>

How does that give any indication of the person? Using a certain weapon doesn't really specify anything about who the operator is.ScottyGEE wrote:Anyway, also to note is that in the final episode of recovery one, the evil taking powers dude uses a brute shot. the same weapon was used to kill the other people in Reconstruction:prologue. He's a recovery agent. He is put into action to recover the AIs of Freelancers and destroy their equipment. There are no Freelancers left in Coagulation at the end of the BGC.DrXThirst wrote:He's probably returning to Coagulation to investigate or see who is left, seeing as how it was where the old RvB Videos left off.
zomg spoiler alrt
So if Church is the Alpha, what does that make Tex? Tex has the same ability to pass into other people as Church does, and as Wash stated, there's no such thing as ghosts. Tex, then, must be an AI as well, logically. However, if she is an AI, why was she part of the Freelancer program, and received another AI? And then, why was she unaffected by it? Tex is able to manage Omega just like Church is.
