New Main Menu
New Main Menu
If I wanted to make a completely new main menu (still in space, mind you) for Halo PC, would it be a viable method to:
A) Make the initial map in CE as a large box with a space texture.
B) Merge the space-object to be the focal point with the map and place it in the center of the box, then attach it to the reference frame.
C) Export the map and, using sapien, change tags etc. to make it a UI.map menu file.
D) Convert to PC.
So is the above missing any vital steps, or is there a better way to go about this?

If you really want a custom UI for PC, conure will be more than happy to make you one.

Make it a Corvette floating in mid space, year 1969, make it a stingray model also! The BSP is the level itself, which I'm fairly certain doesn't include the halo, which has its own model. Just open up UI.map in guerrilla, replace the space bsp with yours and export.

Oh, so I can just use Bungie's BSP and only edit the Halo? Cool. So to edit with sapien I would convert the Halo PC map to CE, edit it and convert back?
