Marathon: Combat Evolved

ok, i know that thinkreddie was the leader of this before, but he sorta just dropped it, so i'm sorta taking over, and im looking for some people to do some stuff for this, so if you can, feel free to help. i would put a list of jobs, but we need everything, so if there's something your good at that no one else is, we may need you. This is a PC mod if you didn't know, but we may have to do some conversion from CE.

1- A modeler, to create biped models, scenery, weapons, and BSPs.
2- A Model Rigger, to rig the models for animation.
3- An animator, to animate bipeds and third/first-person views of the weapons.
4- A skinner, to skin the weapons/bipeds/level mesh.
5- Somebody who is experienced in UVW mapping.
6- Somebody who can tag all of the custom content.
7- Somebody who can populate and build the levels.
8- An uber scripting specialist.
9- A sound person who can comile dialogs, sound effects, and background sounds.

and yes this is going to be for CE, its confirmed.

Keep advertising to a minimum. If you're making a thread here, you shouldn't have people to register somewhere else to discuss it.

well we're sorta using modding central as a base camp for our project to chat and talk about the mod and what to do next. so yes, if you are interested, register at modding central and Pm me.
its not advertising tural, its like using a ventrilo server in a CSS game instead of the built in chat.

How about you have them register if you want them to be in the project, not just to talk to you. You have the thread here, they should be able to talk to you here, otherwise your topic has no purpose other than to advertise and tell people they need to register on your site to talk about it.

This site dosn't have the resources, modder central does.
The purpose of posting the thread here is for if anyone is interested in participating in the project they are informed on how they can contact the project leaders on where to start and where the main communication area is.
Unless halomods can at will create private forums for projects that can be kept in the dark untill the project members see there is enough progress to announced i would suggest not arguing.
Once the project is done im pretty sure it would be released here just as likly as being released anywhere else but this is a pretty large site in terms of members and there are bound to be a few people interested in participating so without spamming every user on the sites PM box with the details this would be the only option which is make a informative thread gfiving out the details.

Good points. Maybe next time you can make them relevant to what I say, not just random fragments of tedious messages with the sole intent to be combative after the situation has been resolved.

In short: You didn't get the point, and the situation was resolved. Stop going out of your way to instigate conflicts or you will be forced to.

You're wrong.
Your entire post is irrelevant to my comments. I said they should not require people to register to become part of the team, if they're looking for team members here. They need to let people suggest themselves here if they are recruiting here. Your post is entirely based on me saying that they can't make people register there to participate in the project, which I never said.
You're wrong, and you're going out of your way, after me and guy resolved the conflict, to argue about it more.
