Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
I recently started playing CoD and Halo 3, instead of just Halo 3, and started getting really good at the game. I have had the game since it's release, but only played Single Player, and absolutely hated it.
So, today I decided that I would "finish the fight." (>_<)
... and I have to say that I am greatly disappointed. I've beaten the entire campaign, from beginning to end, in 4 hours. From 1:14 PM, to 5:28 PM. I mean, it was fun, but I don't think it has any replayability value.
Please help me with some comments/criticism here.

Who gives a shit about how the campaign is? I don't think anyone who plays the game here is going to care about your opinions on the campaign, because those people probably aren't sitting around playing the CoD4 campaign for the same reasons. There's no reason to replay it, CoD4 is heavily built towards multiplayer, if you've been under a rock for a year. I don't even know why you'd make a thread about the campaign when it is very obvious that it is not a focal point in the game, and nobody even talks about it, because they're all playing multiplayer. You know nobody's going to change your opinion by telling you something, because you played it and you have an opinion. Your basis for this thread is invalid because your opinion will not be swayed by other people, regardless of whether or not you claim it will be. When you do something for yourself, you know first hand how you feel about it, and someone telling you it is good is not going to make it good. tl;dr: Nobody cares about campaign, and you shouldn't either. It's a multiplayer game.
Furthermore, if you don't like the game, don't play it. No reason to talk down about it to people who do.
You didn't even get the name of the game correct.

Yea, CoD's campaign on veteran was challenging for me. The only reason I probably beat it was by some glitch were I was invincible. If it wasn't for that, there would probably be a broken CoD game disc in the trash. And multiplayer is pretty fun after playing Halo 3. No playing hide and seek and just good old fast paced warfare.

I found the game rigged. Though I'm pretty sure it's my own damn fault.
I'd spend 10 seconds shooting someone, then they'd be like, "Hey! someone is shooting me!"
They turn around, and BAM! One hit and I'm dead.
I just got fed up and returned it to blockbuster.
It is expected, and demanded.Tural wrote:MrMurder, we're going to hold you to that promise.

I'm referring to how you made a thread with the sole purpose of saying how you thought a game was bad, and challenging people who like it to prove to you otherwise. The latter part is referring to how you are criticizing a multiplayer game's campaign. "Oh man, how could the developers overlook the replayability of campaign in this game that is 95% devoted to multiplayer gameplay?"DrXThirst wrote:Tural, I never talked down to anyone who plays it. Also, I don't keep up with games that are released or any information about them, so in a way I have been under a rock.
