Sapien Problem- hmmm...
Sapien Problem- hmmm...
I have a Radeon 9800 Pro with a gig of RAM and 160 GB of space. Sapien opens up the tutorial map fine, but does not open my scenerio. (it opens and crashes after 1 second). Any ideas?

no, there are far more problems than that.halofreak4567 wrote:maybe because it doesnt crash buddy
leave it be for about 5 min at mose until you hear birds and a river
it is a big program just let it load
what you do, is make sure you edit your map correctly, chances are, you probably did something bad to a tag that your map relies on, so, see if you can fix it.
Don't use animated avatars!
sapien
when I open files in sapien it begins to load and then goes away, I think/guessing it's some kind of tag error but I went through all the tagging steps again with kirk4 video tutorials and it still does the same thing, if anyone can help me please do
Re: sapien
Try taking either the splinter.scenerio tags that came with the v.tutorial, or use the tutorial.scenerio tag that came with HEK and try opening one of those...See if it still happenspooppy wrote:when I open files in sapien it begins to load and then goes away, I think/guessing it's some kind of tag error but I went through all the tagging steps again with kirk4 video tutorials and it still does the same thing, if anyone can help me please do

I have that same problem now for some reason. I load my transfer scenario fine. My new map scenario I load fine, then I go back to Max to make some slight geometry changes. Export it back to JMS then to scenario, the Sapien won't load my new map anymore. Just because I made a few bumps?
When I made geometry changes like this with my other map, it got back to Sapien fine. But what am I missing or doing wrong with this new file?
