Sorry this is off topic.
...and, no, this doesn't involve piracy. It's official.

Knowing how many aspiring programmers there are (myself included) that
frequent these forums, I thought someone might be quite interested in this little give-away.

All you have to do is go to the following link, watch & rate 5 programming tutorial videos and MS will send you a
free "not for resale" copy of "Visual Basic.Net 2003 Standard Edition".
There are tons of videos & many of them are really helpful anyway, so it's worth it to check it out.
...and if you don't already have VB.net, why not get a free copy?

what kind of code does visual basic compile? i think its Visual C++ but im not sure... (is that wat bungie used or something?)

uuuh, i think it's called Visual Basic for a reason...
if it was C++ it woudl be Visual C++
