Administrators
Do administrators still log onto this site regularly? If not, then that's a complaint.
I do see the random post from Iron_Forge on a topic that I guess he finds interesting. But other than that, I'm sorta annoyed.
And yes, I do understand that they have lives and whatnot. But shouldn't people that actually visit the site semi-regularly be administrators? For instance, promoting a/some well-qualified moderator(s) to administrator status.
Now, I could be wrong, and they could visit, under "hidden" members, or something like that. But it's always good to have confirmation.
I just see this place as really unorganized, cluttered, and really just going down the drain.

It is expected, and demanded.Tural wrote:MrMurder, we're going to hold you to that promise.
There is nothing that needs to be done that staff can't do already. It's not like we need new boards and whatever else. I am a staff member with banning capabilities, which are the two classifications of action that could need to be done. There isn't anything an admin is going to do other than do the stuff moderators should be doing.

Maybe cus they quit midding a long time ago. You have to remember that Grenadiac created the site back in 03.Eaton wrote:I agree with you. Grenadiac and Iron_Forge seem to be very inactive. Perhaps some people that are Staff should be promoted to Administrator to keep Halomods in order. That's what I think.

I visit the site as often as I need to...I only read the forums that I find to be of interest...Only post in the forums that I want to...I am a hidden member, so you won't see my activity...
I've developed for the site so that there are now senior staff that can handle the banning...Regular staff can handle the readers club, which is sufficient for 99% of cases...
I'm really only here for staff moderation, and making decisions for the sites direction, new forums, new mods, things of that nature...I'm also available through other communication mediums if something arises that needs my immediate attention...The staff will find me if I'm needed...

It's true what everyone is saying that everything is fine.. but thats not the point. Things could be better, everything needs constant improvement to be relevant and worthy.. and without this things stagnate.. like the community as a whole has done.

I don't feel thats an issue with the site, but rather the community...After half a decade, and several versions of halo later, I'm not sure what you expect...I'm always open to suggestions...Snave wrote:It's true what everyone is saying that everything is fine.. but thats not the point. There is the mail server. When people change their password, they never get the confirmation e-mail.Tural wrote:Present something that the site needs that the admins can do and staff cannot.
So far nobody on the opposition's side has presented any tangible evidence of any claims being made. If you cannot even show where the issue occurs or present any remedies for it, how can you argue it?
You should've said that earlier.
Although, my friend's account is broken because he messed up the password and he never got the confirmation E-Mail so he never saw what the typo was in his password.
