[Problem] Mods not working, Not only my mods other ppls too.

Okay so heres what I have been doing.

Opening map with Forge 2.3

Editing it.

Rehashing it,

Resigning it,

Adding to HDD.

Testing.

Mods arn't working.

Now another problem i have is I take previous maps (Already made maps)and add them to my HDD go to game and they do not show up on the list I have checked all of my profiles and none of them have it...

Are you resigning with your profile and device IDs?

what do you mean rehash? all you need to do is extract the usermap data then once modified repaste over the original usermap data then just resgin using grim's tool. it will rehash and resign for you.


EDIT: also remember to delete the old usermap of your 360

See now i thank you for your help but I am no noob.
I can't even get other peoples maps to work.
I put them in the only profile I have on my xbox360 and check to see if it works and it doesn't even work on the list.

Ex.
I download DeathRace,
Then, I put the file from the .zip to my desktop,
Then, I put the file in contents and into my profile.
Last, I load the game check for the map,
And it is not there,
I have downloaded all the maps from xboxlive (Avalance, Blackout, ect.)

Maybe, its very unlikey, the keypair in his resigner got banned

Or, you know, considering he's using tools that work for everyone else, and his list of steps specifically excludes resigning it with his console and profile IDs, that a ban may not be the problem...

If it isn't in the list, it wasn't resigned properly.
If it 'corrupt', it was rehashed/modded incorrectly.

I did the same thing, except I actually rehashed it using my proper ID information, and it didn't show up.

That makes no sense. They are in almost every single resigner.

When every I use the HaloMods Container tool I get an error about the index.

But get this

I download someones map from HaloMods.
Go to Part 3
Go to Content
Go to First User
Put in UsermapUFOLAND
Take off HardDrive
Put it in Xbox 360
Sign on to right account
Run Halo 3 Disc
Go to maps
Go to Avalanche
Go over
only map there is the map I am making
no UFO

Help?"

I was thinking I don't give a Fuck if someone can get this map to work they can take credit for it everything has been changed.

If you guys want me to attach it then you guys can get it on your drive Get on Live hook me up with it you can take the credit swap it out with your name it is a very nice, Symmetrical, Clean, Beautiful map.
Make it work and give it to me I will be really really happy,

Im pretty positive you didn't sign it, as everybody in this thread has said. And considering if you don't sign it, it won't show up in the menu, and that's exactly what is happening, I'm gonna take a shot in the dark that not resigning your map is your problem.

And instead of learning how to do this, you double post, requesting someone to do the work for you, then send it to you over live. (which is against the rules I believe, or is sending it directly ok?)

Go read a tutorial, and figure it out. It's not too difficult from what I've read. The program does almost everything for you.

use an unmodded con file to find your profile and device id, if that doesnt work, your doing something wrong.
