Actually I joined a halo 3 mapping team. I dont remember posting a model but rooster is the one that modeled the narrows BSP so far.
His modeling work is amazing and he doesn't even have halo 3.
Wow that bsp is 99% close to the h3 narrows, well scale can't be all exact, but it looks same, also the spartan shader is much better now, needs more bumpmap but from what i have seen on halo 1 there's not really bumpmapping? great job DEE
DEE, the detail map you have on your Halo 3 shader looks absolutely nothing like Halo 3. The metal looks way too...well it looks like concrete. Shiny concrete. It does not look good, or high detail, it just looks awful. Also I can't really tell, but it looks like the detail map is also on the rubber as well.
You'll know the significance of this if you ever used the marine as a player bipd.
