How do you get rid of the flamethrower flame and swap models

Post by tucker933 »

hey, ive been modding the flamethrower and it has a diff projectile yet the flame still appears, i would like to know how to get rid of that, plus im wondering how you get another weapons model on a diff gun, ive seen it in several other mods and i dont think swapping the models itself will work as their diff sizes, sofar ive tried meta swapping and dependency swapping to no avail, any help would be greatly appreciated =]

All HHT.

its a dependancy swap. You swap out the mod2 that says FP in it, with whatever other weapon you want that says FP. Then you also swap the antr.

It's an effect. Look for anything relating to fire or defoliant that says effe next to it, and null it.

When you null them out using the dependancy swapper it will only affect the weapon you are working on. So no, it shouldn't.

yes but its an effect in general, not specific to a weapon

as long as you didn't META swap to get the rocket contrail to be the flamethrower flame then it's ok to null it out with the dependency swapper without messing up the rocket contrail i think thats what modfox is trying to say

NOOO. Dont null the effect, null the effect reference in the weapon tag!
