Jeez, that really does suck. Maybe someone else is using your account, and used it to upload something malicious. I'm just speculating here.
Check your payment history, and see if there's something out of place.
No one else used my account because it wasn't recovered nor did anyone get my account file, also even if they did, the fileshare is still banned... And the problem isn't my payment history because even MS said I havent made a transaction in almost a year... MS told me straight up I'm console and account banned... And when I tried to sign into any accounts, it would give me an account payment error instead of banned... But I made a new gamertag.... And I could actually use it... Which is surprising... Hopefully my console ban is permanent so I can sell this Xbox for more money. =x
I was banned from halo2 matchmaking a few years ago, for no reason as well. I never sweared, nor did I have a modded xbox at the time, nor did I do any kind of cheating crap etc. I was a good boy.
I just quit halo2 completely after that, since I didn't feel it was right for me to pay for another account.
A few months after that, we got a 360, and the old xbox became obsolete. That's how I ended on this site, started modding halo2 (not on live) and eventually halo ce.

That sucks, but how would being permanently banned drive up the price for your xbox?

Long story involving the activation of my Windows. I legitimately own Windows Vista Home Premium, but for reasons that are too long to list I couldn't Activate my legitimate copy, and so the activation period thing got reset when I got SP1, and now at midnight tonight (34 minutes) it's gonna pretty much brick.
For extremely cheap web hosting and domains, PM me. Includes excellent control panel software and instant activation!

I had that same problem. Firefox would crash whenever I tried to watch a video. However, I have XP. I rebooted and it seemed to fix it, but I still have random problems with streaming video causing Firefox to crash.
I got nowhere from doing that. The only way I can get around this is by forking out more money. It's a really long story. When I own a legit copy already, I can't warrant spending money to legally use it.

And so the lack of Vista makes your computer a brick?
During your period of Vistalessness, use a live CD of Ubuntu or something at the very least. It'll get you on the Internet without every touching your hard drive. Though at this point, you're probably screwed unless you have another machine, as it takes a bit longer than 34 minutes to download an ISO...
