fog on chillout and damnation

Post by AbeFroman »

theres already fog there, but i want that fog to cover the entire map so that if someone was medium distance in front of you you wouldn't see him,

you can do it in eschaton with entity plugins... just edit its density and what-not... not sure if it can be done in HMT...

change the alpha value for the fog, you will have to change the colour of it prolly, but it should be there. or import it from on of the flood levels.

so I looked into this and....

you cannot modify the alpha for it ipod, no option allowing you to..

so I PMId the "coolant fog" from d40 into it, and after matching the settings, I learned the fog is located UNDER the falls of damnation... so unless you can make it cover the map... good luck

Well, I did do my research, and found a alpha, or opacity option. it is under "Floats" in the fog tag, there are two "opaque distance" and "opaque depth".

nevermind guys, i got it, thanks for posting, what i needed to do was use phenomena's plugins and go under [sky] and change the normal fog color to that of the one that shows when u fall to the bottom of the map and die, then set the density to 0, start distance to 0, and opaque distance to 10

this worked the same way on chillout
