I said prejudice, not racist. There's a difference, look it up.

Yes I know theres a difference, but most people I know use them interchangeably (sp?). So I always assume when they refer to prejudice they do racism, my mistake in this case, I apologize.

As for the 'people staring at you because of your skin color' rant, my two cents on it is get over it. I live in an area where the population is hardly white, and I get stared at when I go places, but I don't give a damn. It's their problem, not mine. It will save you a lot of grief and stress if you just learn to ignore it.

Its not really becuase of either of our skin colors particulary, it was more of because it appeared to be an interracial couple. like i said, we are both mixed race in the same way, but she appears lighter than me so they assumed it was a black/white couple. Those same people dont mind either color its just the whole interracial thing. and it isnt hard at all for me to get over it, it is just the fact that in this day and age people still hold onto it is what fuels my rant.

People are taught racism, it's not something that is natural.

My dog doesn't like blacks or mexicans.
She growls at them.. There's a few rare occasions, but she generally doesn't like them. Plus, if you have drugs on you, she'll tear you to pieces.
