Coolest, biggest and baddest computer game and computer?

Post by 0m3g4Muff1n987 »

So my dad just came down and told me that he was just about to unblock my MAC address (if you didn't know, none of the kids in the house are allowed to use our computers or the internet) so that my brother and I could look up and configure the most mind-blowingly amazing computer out on the market, if money was no object. I think I can do that part on my own, but you guys can chime in and post your idea if you want.

But he also told us to find the game that we'd want the most, and again money is no object, just make sure it can run on the beast computer that we find (which should be no problem, of course, unless it's like a crysis-equivalent). I've been out of the computer hardware and PC games world for quite a while now, probably since I realized a 360 and an XFPS would be more worth saving up for than a gaming PC, so what do you guys think would be the best choice to tell my dad? Crysis was the first thing that came to mind since it taxes the PC so much, but doesn't it earn its rep mostly from that fact, and not the fact that it's actually fun or anything? Idk. Tell me what to buy. :)

EDIT: I also just thought maybe CoD4 would be fun. I'm thinking FPS's, and pretty much everything made by Valve, but they haven't made anything new recently, have they? Like, they haven't released Ep.3 yet have they?

EDIT 2: BTW, FWI, idk what he's asking us for, because he won't tell us, but I'm guessing he's going to do something nice for us and buy us this huge beast of a computer as a present or something, idk. He did mention a couple days ago that he just signed a few big million-dollar deals in his company, so our financial troubles are going to start going away (he's a sales guy at Avaya)...

Oh my goodness gracious. If he really is going to buy it for us, I might as well try to make it a little easy on him. I won't make him pay more than 5k for it, but I'll make sure it's got a dominating video card and stuff. We can ease on the storage space and stuff like that, we've already got a terabyte HD on our raid server.

I wouldn't recommend getting a Quadro. It's designed for CAD not playing games.
