Yes I know modems have nothing to do with your actual internet speed but mine is currently pretty much broken and is slowing my internet to an unbearable pace.

Whereas I'm paying for at LEAST a 2MB connection, probably more like 3MB.

Because I can barely stream video with my current, and when multiple computers use the internet its damn impossible to do anything.

my upload speed is about 10, download barely reaches 100...and that's with an accelerator...
with out i am generally at about 50-70....

i just found out that our property taxes have been raised, because they said our property was bigger than it really is, so now after a bunch of files and junk are gone through, we will get a 3500-7000 refund, and i get to get a new pc with 3500 of that =]
