Firefox 3 blows. Hard.
They can get rid of the "Awesomebar" or I'm not using that shit. Yes, it is that big of a deal. The new address bar is the absolute worst thing to happen to Firefox, and the developers had the balls to remove the option to disable it, citing that they aren't setting out to make a browser that suits everyone's customization needs. Arrogant, stubborn bastards. They also removed the "Go" button unless you're actively typing in the address bar, which is also stupid.

Its called Chain Mail.JK-47 wrote:Same here.Senor_Grunt wrote:There's a screen shot chain mail going around of some Flaming Recon. It's *** annoying! I've got it for like, the 6th time already in the past 3 days!
What's the big deal about it? Is it one of those stupid: "If you send this to 10 people, you will get recon!" things?

I'm finding it sadly amusing...the gullibility of people is quite amusing (or Perhaps its not gullibility but blind desperation).

Today marks the second year of my Grandfathers death. *Sigh*
Amazing how it feels like forever. I wonder why that is?

"You know what I'd like to be? I mean if I had my goddamn choice, I'd just be the catcher in the rye and all."
or should I?

Perhaps its the sites I go to...Or its because I have so many tabs open. But both firefox and IE eat through my ram if I have more than 5 windows open and sometimes make my computer run slow.Tural wrote:Eh?ScottyGEE wrote:All I need is tabbed browsing that doesn't use 250MB RAM and an adblocker and I'm happy.
There hasn't been a post in the Halo Photography thread in over a month, and there hasn't been a post in the Hi-Res Photography thread in over two months.
I don't think there's ever been such a period of inactivity in those threads since they were started.
I'm not sure how things are looking for HaloMods. Will we make it into 2009?

I think I just went through a moment of panic then. I don't recall ever feeling that way ever before actually...Might still be getting over it, as right now I'm feeling slightly light headed.
edit: I'm disliking charity ads. While I've always been disgruntled by them I dunno, they show all these statistics or say so many things, but never cite sources. I'm all for good causes, but I know that the marketing is designed to make me emoitve on the subject and convince me to donate. World Vision is a big one on that, utilising multiple tactics to try and get donations.
I just don't wanna be lied to. In a way, I think I shouldn't question it because its charity....But then I think is that what they want me to do?

I use Safari in combination with a small browser I wrote, I don't need Firefox's customisation at all because that just makes it slow, if I need something I will write it from my own. Also I am disappointed with the performance of Swordedit on my machine, it is terrible, I hope sword fixes it soon.Kirk wrote:Well good thing Safari works on my new computer (I probably could have fixed it on my old one)
Works like a dream, it's clean, and doesn't have any unnecessary features that bug me on a daily basis.
