Damn, it's amazing how fast copypasta finds its way around the internet. That said, I read this story about a year ago. Summary: The asshole gets what he deserves.

It does seem to have changed with the times. "This is Sparta" was not around when I first read it.

Enjoyable. The little bits of God-versus-me were annoying, except the occasional "Medical Stalingrad" metaphor.

I read the hospital part but stopped reading when he got out. Was pretty funny but way to much to read in one sit.

Reading a book and reading something on a computer is totally different.
