Sleep mode

Ok recently i've been having a odd problem with my computer, it goes into sleep mode when im pretty much doing anything, its happened with i was played halo, oblivion, surfing the ne, doing homework, it started to happen about 2 week's ago maybe more i dont remember, so how can i fix this. O and my computer is kinda old 1.5 gigs and a Raedon x700pro graphic card

help?

Edit: im running window xp SP2.

sounds like your computer may be over heating.
open it up and use a dry cloth to clean any dust thats there.

sorry for the bump but i did clean out my pc of all the dust and its still happening

Did you clean your heat sinks off with a thin brush to remove the dust from inside the heat sink?

Did you try disabling hibernation?
