I think the tool basically works by importing the models into 3ds max and then adding the animations there

Dark, it was a joke in response to one of JK's smart-ass comments. I'm not cancelling it cause of one kids actions.
sarcasm + internet = fail.

Don't revive an old argument to get your point in, you too 9mm man.
Ah I didn't see that. Also you didn't make it sound like sarcasm from the post.

Cool then.

So will you be able to create longer/shorter animations? Or are they fixed to what the current ones are?
Your image cannot exceed 400x200 or 50kb

The animations aren't "injected" over any preexisting ones. The tool adds completely new ones, so there's no limit on anything.

Can you leave an animation fully intact but shorten or lengthen the duration of it? In other words, time dilation/contraction without building any additional animations.

Right now, as you shorten the time of an animation, the animation seems to accelerate slightly before simply omitting parts of the sequence. If you lengthen the time of an animation, you get some bizarre glitches with the camera.

Any idea on the ETA for this thing?

Ugh too bad they aren't going to release the extraction tools. The only thing I find interesting about their work.
Ah well closed source for personal glory I guess...

Ghost's extractors were awesome for rendering, and I had always wanted that sort of stuff for Halo 2.

It'll be fine guys. Things will or won't be released. We'll just have to work on it ourselves if they don't release the extraction tools. I'm just happy to get the injection tools. :P

Just like people have worked themselves in the three and a half years the game has been out? Halo 2 modding is dying, and we all know that if they don't release it, nobody will.

If you can make the sweet pistol-flip animation from Halo CE, I might actually play Halo 2 again.
Very well done!
