Issues caused by the server move.

So what is causing the downtimes? Us (too much bandwidth) or new server (teething problems)?

Yeah, what has been causing this? It seems to happen at least once every week and I would like to know what causes it to happen. It doesn't seem like this new server is too reliable.

I dunno if it's just me but when I post, the post goes through but the page stays on the reply page and I have to exit out of it.

This happened after the "blow-up".

Editing posts works properly though.

Happens on and off.

I noticed that too. It happens to me on my desktop computer, but I think it just may be the internet connection.

Also, have e-mail notifications been disabled? I no longer receive e-mails notifying me of a reply to a topic and I have the settings set correctly in the User Control Pannel.

People have reported that they don't get new confirmation emails when changing email addresses, so their accounts can't be active. Something is up with the mail server.

Don't change your email address because it will deactivate your account.

I saw a thread a while back with someone saying that they couldn't activate their account because of that. Thank you for the warning. I won't change it. Is there a way to fix it, or do we need to wait for Grenadiac?

I cant upload avatars, it was supposed to be fixed but now its broken again, I cant upload file from internet or directly from my computer. Gren can use my pic!

That means your Avatar is to big in size. It's not caused by the server.
