Anyway, I have been a fan of the gameboy games. I beat red, blue, yellow, gold, silver, crystal, ruby, sapphire, emerald, fire red, and leaf green. I even beat the Pokemon TCG for gameboy.

But by all means, give Fire Emblem and Golden Sun a try. Fuck yeah, Fire Emblem.

Anyway, the way I see it is that the Pokemon games are the guilty pleasure of everyone. You may say you hate them, but deep down inside you know when you hear there's a new one you're like "hell yeah, gotta catch those bitches."

...This is really weird, I just started playing Diamond again last week. I can't stop playing it, hehe. I'm at Victory Road right now. :)

Gameboy / DS Pokemon games are amazing. I don't care what anyone says about Pokemon being childish. It's a very fun game to play. Have you had any trouble with your Action Replay, DrXThirst? Because I remember using a GameShark for the original Pokemon game and my file got deleted. ;__;

GameSharks are not very good. Mine worked ONCE. Action Replays are much better and safer.

Yeah, that's what I thought. But I would be pissed if my game got deleted after all my hard work. :P

No, I've had no problems. The only problems that I've read about, were that people had trouble getting the software on the computer to detect the Action Replay.

I haven't had trouble with that, either, though.
Also, Vaati, after you beat the Pokemon League, do you want me to send you some of the Pokemon that you've always wanted? Mew, MewTwo, Celebi, Deoxys, etc.?

Oh, and does anyone remember Missingno? If you caught that weird looking thing, it would delete your game. Ugh. Here's some pictures if you don't remember:

Haha, I forgot about him. Yeah, I did that little trick probably a thousand times back when. I caught Missingno, my brother caught Glitch.

Yeah, I just read a few pages about him. Supposedly it only deletes few people's games. I guess I was one of those people, because I caught a level 136 one and it froze my game and when I turned it back on, it started a new game.

AFAIK, there's only a Gameboy/GBA emulator for PSP, and with all the games I've tried on it, they run fine.

Action Replay didn't exist in the '90s.

I caught several missingnos and then used the rare candy glitch, leveled them up until their levels reset to 1 (they kept their stats) and then taught them badass moves using TMs. EDIT: Also, I saved and it didn't mess my game up. :\

I evolved my Missingno into Kangaskhan. That could fly. I loved that glitch. Thats the only reason I beat the game, was from the infinite rare candy it gave you.

I remeber as a kid, me and my friends (and I supoose our mums coz we were all that young [year 5-6]) went to our local mall for the massive Pokemon promotion thingy. You brought your game, they'd unlock Mew on your cartridge...So kool.

Thing was though, I already had it from a pc rom, but it was kool having it on the gameboy aswell.

This talk makes me wanna play it...Might be a bit of nostalgia too. I think that 150(+1) was a good amount. Just a pity it looks so crappy.

Yes, Pokemon is a great time killer while you're "pooping".

Also, do you get EXP for beating a Trainer Online?
Like, back to Gameboy Advance SP (heh, it's been a while) when you had to link the Gameboys together, and you beat your friend, did you get EXP? I can't remember, but a few people have told me that you don't.

Hmm, I don't think you get EXP from playing online / playing against your friends.

And, I'll get back to your DrXThirst about Action Replay Pokemon. I may end up getting my own Action Replay...
