Does anyone here miss the happiness of 80s music? Van Halen and such. Even in 80's metal IE: Guns N' Roses you can hear the happiness. Some Ozzy stuff even sounds happy. Personally, i can't get enough of Jump - Van Halen, that song always gets me going, I love it. People go on and on about how 80s music sucks, but I think deep down everyone loves it. People just don't have the balls/ovaries to admit it. (I added the ovaries, because just saying balls would be sexist :D )

I personally like slow music more than fast music. A healthy mix is totally acceptable though.

I like fast songs generally but there are very good slow songs too. I also like loud music just because i cant believe the speaker jumps around. I laugh at that :P

The cocaine ran out. That was the death of 80's synth rock. Not to mention people had enough of it. Everything sounded the same. Anybody with 5 grams of white and a synth could be the next pop star, and people just got tired of it.

There were some good things about the 80's. But honestly, I dislike the music from that time... a lot.

Liking the previously noted song, I am willing to state that your recommended song was intolerably terrible in every way.
